Ever since jeggings have entered our lives, we have totally forgotten about jeans. The trends of leggings and jeggings have caught on like fire in the market, which is absolutely good. Jeggings are simply a mix of jeans and leggings put together. You can find incredible designs of ladies jeggings online all over different shopping sites. You can find printed jeggings, plain ones, colourful ones and so many other kinds. But the real question is that how you must take care of jeggings? Well, do not fret! We are here to help you out…
- First and foremost, don’t wash your jeggings too much. If you wear it on a day to day basis, then make sure you use warm water to rinse it out after the day ends or after every 2 days. Putting it in the machine with harsh detergent powders will ruin the cloth.
- Use liquid detergent that is mild if it starts to stink or has some spots you want to remove. You can hand wash the jeggings else put it in the machine with a mild liquid detergent.
- If there is a spot you want to wash off then put detergent only on that place and clean it with the help of a tooth brush. The more you wash the jeggings with detergent, the more it will start getting ruined. It is always suggested that you must not wash your jeans too much otherwise it becomes really rough after some time or starts to wear off. Same goes for the jeggings! It will either become rough or start wearing off. So don’t do that.
- Don’t dry it in the harsh sun. If the sun is out and shinning upon you then avoid drying the jeggings in the sun for too long. If the jeggings is a coloured one like purple, light blue, pink, etc. then let it dry indoors otherwise the colour could fade off if you leave it too much in the sun on a regular basis. Other than this, if you have no space to dry it indoors then you can reverse the pants and put them out in the sun.
- Twice in a month give the jeggings for ironing to the laundry. Not very often but at least two times a month is good to give it or to iron it so that bacteria can get out of the jeggings. If you are only hand washing it with water plus, there is no stink then you must iron it more than two times to remove any bacteria on the jeggings. You don’t want your skin to have allergic reactions after few months.
- Fold the jeggings. Rather than hanging it in your drawer, fold it and keep the jeggings. You can place it anywhere in the closet but don’t bury it under a pile of clothes. Otherwise it will start to stink up.
We hope these tricks help you out.
